Tour Uros and Taquile Island Full Day

The Floating Islands of the Uros are part of a group of approximately 80 islands built from reeds, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca. The reed is woven and stretched over another layer of it to build the surface of each island at a height of 3,812 masl (12,503 feet). Taquile Island is on Titicaca Lake, at 2hours from Chifrón and 1hours from Amantaní by boat and at 35km in the North of Puno. This is one of the biggest islands of Titicaca Lake, well known as “The Sons of Sun Island “a height of 3,950 masl (12,956 feet). There, travelers will be able to climb a 520-step stairs to reach the wonderful view of Taquile Island square. Moreover, crafts of Taquile Island are registered to the UNESCO World Heritage.
