In the Sacred Valley of the Incas there are beautiful colonial towns, which today show their beauty in architecture, art and living culture. The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located northeast of Cusco, and has an altitude of 2,000 to 2,800 masl. The Ausangate snow-capped peak is located  southwest of the Cusco region in the Vilcanota mountain range of the Peruvian Andes. With an enormous elevation of 6,384 meters,  or 2093 Ft it is the fifth highest mountain in Peru. The region is inhabited by high-altitude llama and alpaca farming communities and is one of the few remaining in the world. Today, the Ausangate trek is one of the most famous treks in the region. The hike offers its visitors spectacular mountain scenery and natural beauty, combined with a geography of many contrasts, with many glaciers and colorful blue lagoons, as well as its picturesque valleys. A great variety of flora and fauna lives here along the way, including chinchillas, vicuñas, Andean foxes and the magnificent Andean condor, among other species. Is the Best Full Day Tour Q’eswachaka Inca Bridge, is unique and out of the traditional excursions in Cusco. It is the only one left in Perú and is a great cultural heritage of our ancestors. Qeswa = plant fiber braid and Chaka = bridge which means plant fiber bridge. During the Inca empire time, there were more than 40 thousand kilometers of trails, and the main one was called Qhapaq Ñan (path of the nobility). These allowed the best administration of the empire and the tunnels and bridges that were necessary to cross the rugged geography of the Andes were built, especially hanging bridges made of vegetable fibers to cross rivers. Currently, there is a single bridge that has been renewed annually for more than 500 years; using rituals and complex ancestral knowledge. It is an excellent place to meet the largest and most sacred bird that was considered in the time of the Incas as an Andean spiritual messenger. The word "Waqrapukara" is a Quechua word Waqra = means horn, Pukara = strength located at about 4160m.n.m. The inhabitants of Llamapuka confirm us that they are not horns, but are the stopped ears of a llama that alerted the presence of foreigners. All the natural environment shows us from afar that it is a special place, out of the ordinary. Waqpupukara was a sanctuary very important for the Incas that was a political and religious Center. It is divided into 2 parts, the upper part where the rocky spur is located, where 2 enclosures can be seen separated by a central space. We can also see niches and covers, all these constructions are of ceremonial functionality. The lower part consists of pre-Inca Andes, 5 enclosures and niches.
Waqrapukara is a highly recommended destination for adventure and experiential tourism. It is also considered a good alternative as a physical preparation before trekking to the mountain of Colors, Salkantay, Inca Trail, Choquequirao, Lares Trek and others.

Located in the Andes of Peru at 5200m above sea level sits the Rainbow Mountain. These mountains are partially formed of colourful sediments which give it a unique and vibrant look. It takes around 3 hours to walk to the summit of the mountain but it can also be reached by horseback. This is still a relatively new and unknown treasure as it was only discovered for tourism in 2015. The one day hike is around 15kms long.

Inti Raymi or “Festival of the Sun” was the largest, most important, spectacular and magnificent festival held in the times of the Tahuantinsuyo Empire, which based its religion on the cult of the Sun. The "Inti Raymi" was created to worship the "Apu Inti" (Sun God) also known in certain sectors as "Apu P'unchau" (Day God). Is a very important festival that takes place every year on the 24th of June. It is held in the capital of the Incas in commemoration of the Sun God. It shows the cities artistic expression. To celebrate the Cusqueños are nourished by their deep roots to project an eternal alliance with nature and through rhythms and colours they reinforce their commitment to life that extends to other visitors around the world. The festival reveals the real nature of the Peruvian men and women.
