Brief description:
At “Mirador del Cóndor Chonta” we will enjoy the majestic flight of the Andean condor in it’s natural habitat.
“Peruvian Paths & Adventures” invite you to visit this new tourist route option outside the city of Cusco, known as the Canyon of the Andes Condor.
Located in the Apurimac River Canyon in the community of Chonta within the district of Limatambo, Cusco.
It is an adventure highly recommended for lovers of Andean culture and bird watchers. We will see the Condors (Vultur Gryphus), Eagles, Hawks, Kestrels, and Hummingbirds.
It is an excellent place to meet the largest and most sacred bird that was considered in the time of the Incas as an Andean spiritual messenger.
During the trip to the Condor Canyon we can also appreciate the beautiful cultural attractions such as the Archaeological Zone of Killarumiyoc, Tarawasi and other natural attractions such as mountains, gorges, rivers and snowy mountains.
